Job Requirement
- Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent is required. Or
- A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in the areas stated above, in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree
- Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience at the national or international level in Economic analysis, data collection and reporting results is required.
- Proven experience in project management is required.
- Relevant work experience in economic analysis and development of strategy and implementation plan for delivery would be an asset.
- Extensive experience in research and policy-level analysis is an asset.
- Proven expertise in formulating development strategies, advisory documents, development roadmaps, visionary roadmaps, and other strategic policies documents for Government or Private Sector is an asset.
- Proven experience and knowledge about application of innovation in solving complex issues in private or public sector (assessed through generating ideas, prototyping, and developing solutions with real impact is desired. s desired, desired.
- Prior experience in working in an innovation lab in public or private sector would be an advantage.
Required Languages
- Fluency in English and Dzongkha is required.
